SUNSEEKER SOUNDINGS No.4
Saturday – 4.30pm As crews head out of the final service at Canford Arena, with just two stages left to complete, Will Nicholls/Nick Broom lead Rallye Sunseeker in their Subaru Impreza WRC from the similar car of former winners Roger Duckworth/Mark Broomfield.

Paul Bird’s attempt to win the event came to nought when his Ford Focus WRC went out with electrical bothers, leaving the two Subarus to fight it out over the closing stages.

Sean Devine/Francis Regan are 3rd in their Impreza S11 but have over a minute to make up if they are to overhaul Duckworth, while Anthony Willmington’s efforts have seen him move up to fourth place in his Mitsubishi Lancer EVOVI.

Daniel Barry/Martin Brady lead the Mitsubishi Evolution Challenge competitors in their Group N EVOIX, but Simon Hughes/Patrick Walsh, Nik Elsmore/Craig Drew and Andreas Magnusson/Henrik Hulterskog are line astern with under half a minute separating all four of them!

Shelly Taunt/Julie Murphy are the top Ladies in their Subaru Impreza (21st) and Tom Walster/Tim Sturla lead the two-wheel drive contingent in their Renault Clio R3 (22nd).
