After seven stages of Rallye Sunseeker, Marcus Dodd/Andrew Bargery still lead in their Hyundai Accent WRC but the pair have, thus far, been unable to shake off the Peugeot Cosworth of Andy Burton/Shelley Rogerson which set fastest time on the last stage through Bere Wood and is less than ten seconds adrift. Irishman Stephen Moore is keeping in touch with the top two in his Ford Focus WRC and each of the three drivers is well aware that the slightest slip could alter the leaderboard considerably!

Will Nicholls (Subaru Impreza) is 4 th and, in spite of a one-minute penalty, Jon Ingram (Subaru Impreza) is back up to 5 th . David Bogie/Kevin Rae continue to lead the Group N race in their Mitsubishi Lancer EVO9, but Nik Elsmore, Seb Ling, Simon Harraway & Daniel Barry are within twenty seconds of each other and the stage is set for a fantastic battle to the finish with valuable points in the Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge at stake!

The list of retirements is growing as the pace of the rally begins to take its toll. Peter Egerton/Paul Spooner (Hyundai Accent WRC) have called it a day following a bout of sickness, while former Ladies' Champions Shelly Taunt/Julie Murphy have posted a rare non-finish in their Impreza prompted by gearbox maladies.

Richard Smith (no- not that one!) has withdrawn his Metro 6R4 at service at Canford Arena following the loss of the car's power steering, joining Craig Bennett's similar car which went out last night with a minor electrical fire.
