In a new initiative for 2008, the entry list for Rallye Sunseeker will include six identical Land Rover Wolf XD vehicles, each crewed by members of HM Armed Forces who will be contesting the Rallye Sunseeker Military Challenge which is a round of the Armed Forces Rally Championship.

Maintaining its traditional slot as the opening round of the MSA Gravel Rally Championship, regulations for the Bournemouth-based event, which takes place on 22 nd /23 rd February, are currently at the printers and will be despatched to all interested parties over the Christmas period.

Entry fees have been held at 2007 levels and there are, once again, reductions for two-wheel drive vehicles.

Plans for the anniversary celebrations of the MG Metro 6R4 are gaining momentum with the news that, in addition to more than 15 drivers who have already expressed an interest in attending, Prodrive will be sending Jimmy McRae's Rothmans-liveried example which now resides in their own museum!
